With Kamala Harris lacking a track record or even the capacity to explain any of her programs of action, even staunch Democrats have a hard time trying to justify why she had the slightest chance of winning this election.
Controversial senator John Fetterman had an interview with Newsmax, revealing what he thinks of the Trump-Harris matchup.
Fetterman, known for his hot takes on political issues and former mayor of Braddock, Pennsylvania, admits that Donald Trump had an “undeniable” effect in Pennsylvania, a battleground state, and his capacity to build “a strong connection with the people of Pennsylvania” in 2016, which helped him win the presidency.
Trump was the first Republican to win in Pennsylvania since George H.W. Bush in 1988.
The senator told Greta Van Susteren that with Pennsylvania’s voting history, he believes that whoever wins the state, wins the presidency.
Pennsylvania voted for Democrats before Trump’s first candidacy as president of the United States. The state has 19 electoral votes and ever since has been a swing state.
In the 2020 election, Biden won by 1.2 percent against the former president, but Fetterman said that candidate must win Eerie and Bucks counties to ensure they win the presidency.
“I think those kinds of bellwether counties all across Pennsylvania, like Bucks County and Erie County, are going to be where that battle’s won,” Fetterman claimed.
“I fundamentally believe that whoever can carry their argument and win Erie will win Pennsylvania and I do think who wins Pennsylvania will be the next president…,” the senator added.
Meanwhile, according to a recent poll by Emerson College/The Hill, despite all the hype on Cackling Kamala, the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee is still trailing the Republican nominee.
In Pennsylvania, 48 percent of respondents say they will vote for Trump, while 46 percent favor Harris. In Arizona, 49 percent back Trump, while 44 percent will vote for Harris; in Georgia, 48 percent are for Trump, while Harris only got 46 percent.
The NPR, a left-leaning propaganda machine, even went to Pennsylvania to prove Trump’s support is dwindling but was disappointed.
One retired police chief, Alan DeRusso, remarked he’s all for Trump and hung ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ on his front porch.
DeRusso said he was a registered Democrat but can’t stand the Party anymore.
The former police chief also called for a full investigation of the ongoing charges against Trump.
“I think there should be a full investigation as to why those charges were even pursued,” DeRusso remarked.
Even his neighbor Mahendra Shukla, a naturalized US citizen from India, echoed his stance.
Mahendra tells NPR that his view of the former president hasn’t changed despite his conviction.
“He was guilty, not now, he was guilty whenever he committed the crime, but nobody came after him [then],” Shukla quipped.
