When darkness rules over the nation, it is only necessary to unite for the greater cause, even if it means extending an olive branch to someone who stabbed you in the back during the 2020 election.
On Thursday, President Donald Trump and Gov. Brian Kemp put their feud on the back burner to focus on the future and unite against the forces of evil, also known as the Harris-Walz tandem.
During an interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News, Kemp emphasized the need to bring back the former president in the White House.
“Well, we got to win. We got to win from the top of the ticket on down. I’ve been saying consistently for a long time, that we cannot afford another four years of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. I think Kamala Harris and Tim Walz would be even worse,” the Georgia governor told Hannity.
“We need to send Donald Trump back to the White House. We need to retake the Senate. We need to hold the House. We need to hold the legislative majorities that we have in the great state of Georgia. It takes hard work. That’s what we’ve been doing.”
Kemp added that his goal is to ensure the “whole ticket” would “win from top to bottom.”
Trump, whose favorite program is Hannity’s show on Fox News, responded to Kemp’s statements through a post on Truth Social immediately after the governor’s appearance.
“Thank you to #BrianKempGA for all of your help and support in Georgia, where a win is so important to the success of our Party and, most importantly, our Country,” Trump posted. “I look forward to working with you, your team, and all of my friends in Georgia to help MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
He also repeated this in a call-in to Fox News, where the Republican presidential nominee thanked Kemp for his remarks.
“I just saw Brian … was interviewed by Sean Hannity, and he was very nice, and he said he wants Trump to win, and he’s going to work with me 100% and I think we’re going to have a very good relationship with Brian Kemp.”
The two leaders had a strained relationship after Kemp refused to address election fraud in the Peach State during the 2020 elections, where Trump had lost to Joe Biden by 11,779 votes.
However, during the December 30, 2020, state Senate Hearing, election experts exposed that according to Georgia election data, more than 30,000 votes were removed from Trump, and another 12,17 votes were switched to the kid sniffer during the December 30 state senate hearing.
