Law enforcement officials of the Biden-Harris regime swiftly responded to the recent maggot incident during the Democratic National Convention. On the other hand, it took them a month to implement corrective action against the Secret Service for failing to protect President Donald Trump.
This stark contrast has once again revealed the fascist double standard of the Biden-Harris regime, where it sidelines political opponents and cancels out their critics.
The Department of Homeland Security and the Secret Service have just recently put on administrative leave its agents involved with ensuring the security of President Trump during his rally at Butler, Pennsylvania, where a bullet grazed his right ear and killed Corey Comperatore, a former fire chief.
According to reports, at least five Secret Service agents were sidelined, including the head of Secret Service’s Pittsburgh field office and one member of Trump’s protective team, as the investigation related to the incident continues.
These measures were implemented only after the Secret Service finished internal interviews to establish the circumstances as to how Thomas Matthew Crooks was able to position himself on top of the roof and fire several shots from the AGR building.
As per the source familiar with the ongoing investigation, the Secret Service has finished the interviews recently because the FBI was also interviewing the agents.
Meanwhile, Senator Josh Hawley (R-Missouri) added on Friday that a Secret Service whistleblower revealed that officials at the Secret Service HQ told agents not to request any additional security assets in their formal planning request.
Out of shame, the disgraced Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle filed her resignation less than two weeks after the assassination attempt and testified about the event before Congress.
Lawmakers then called for a major revamp of the Secret Service and demanded to dismiss employees who failed to do their jobs in Butler.
Previously, Fox News also found that a threat to Trump’s life from Iran was relayed internally at the Secret Service before his rally in Pennsylvania — the investigation is also looking into the reason why the Butler event pushed through despite the threat.
According to USSS spokesperson Anthony Guglielmi, the Secret Service is committed to getting to the bottom of the incident that led to its operational failure.
“The U.S. Secret Service’s mission assurance review is progressing, and we are examining the processes, procedures, and factors that led to this operational failure.”
“The U.S. Secret Service holds our personnel to the highest professional standards, and any identified and substantiated violations of policy will be investigated by the Office of Professional Responsibility for potential disciplinary action. Given this is a personnel matter, we are not in a position to comment further.”
House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer (R-Kentucky) welcomed the action taken on some members of the Secret Service.
“There must be accountability at the Secret Service for its historic failures that led to the attempted assassination of President Trump,” Comer remarked.
“Holding negligent employees accountable is the first step. I look forward to the Task Force’s findings of its investigation. We must ensure the Secret Service does not fail again.”
