Elon Musk has zeroed in on Kamala Harris’ billion-dollar campaign fundraising, asserting that it’s driven more by fear than genuine support.
According to Musk, billionaires like Bill Gates and Reid Hoffman are frantically backing Harris, not because of her policies, but to protect themselves from potential exposure. With a Trump victory threatening to uncover their alleged ties to convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, these elites are funneling money into Harris’ campaign in what Musk calls a “desperate bid” to keep their secrets buried.
In a revealing interview with Tucker Carlson, Musk did not mince words about the motivations behind Harris’ financial backers. “Some billionaires behind Kamala are terrified of a Trump win,” Musk stated. He suggested that the substantial overlap between those funding Harris and those allegedly connected to Epstein’s client list paints a clear picture of self-preservation. “It’s not about her policies, it’s about survival,” Musk continued.
Musk’s remarks come as fresh reports surface about Bill Gates’ past connections to Epstein. Despite Gates’ efforts to downplay their relationship, including a spokesperson’s insistence that his meetings with Epstein were solely for “philanthropic purposes,” a recent report revealed Gates had photographs with one of Epstein’s trafficking victims in 2014. Musk pointed to this as part of a broader pattern. “They’re trying to sweep it under the rug, but people are starting to see the truth,” Musk said.
This fear, Musk claimed, is what drives Gates and other elites to back Harris so aggressively. “These donations are not about supporting Kamala Harris. They’re about keeping their names out of the spotlight,” Musk argued. He pointed to the lack of prosecution for Epstein’s high-profile associates. “It’s mind-blowing that they haven’t gone after anyone on that list,” Musk said, adding, “Meanwhile, they’re throwing January 6 protesters in jail left and right.”
In addition to Gates, Reid Hoffman, the billionaire co-founder of LinkedIn, has also been tied to Epstein. Hoffman visited Epstein’s private island and has faced criticism for his ongoing relationship with the convicted sex offender. According to Musk, these elites see a Trump presidency as an existential threat. “If Trump gets back in office, their worst nightmare becomes reality,” Musk stated, referring to the potential exposure of the Epstein client list.
Bill Gates, in particular, has been at the center of controversy. Epstein reportedly used knowledge of Gates’ affair with a Russian bridge player to attempt to blackmail the tech mogul. Musk highlighted this as another reason for Gates’ deep involvement in Harris’ campaign. “It’s not just about Epstein. Gates has his skeletons, and Epstein knew it,” Musk said.
The relationship between Gates and Epstein continued even after Epstein’s 2008 conviction for soliciting a minor. Epstein reportedly introduced Gates to women and tried to leverage his connections with the Microsoft founder for his benefit. “Gates wanted to distance himself, but it was too late. Epstein had his hooks in him,” Musk explained.
While Gates’ spokesperson claimed that the billionaire “regrets” his meetings with Epstein, it’s already too late.
“They can say whatever they want, but the facts are clear,” Musk said, pointing to the numerous reports of Gates’ interactions with Epstein. “This is exactly why they’re all lining up behind Harris.”
Musk’s comments suggest that Harris’ billion-dollar fundraising isn’t just a political war chest, but a shield for some of the most powerful people in the world. “They’re terrified of what Trump will expose,” Musk emphasized, noting that the Epstein client list has remained sealed. “Why haven’t we seen the names? Why hasn’t anyone been prosecuted? It’s obvious they’re protecting each other,” he added.
Musk went even further, implying that the Harris campaign is complicit in this cover-up. “They know what’s at stake. This isn’t about policies or the future of the country. It’s about ensuring the truth never comes out,” he said. According to Musk, the financial backing from billionaires like Gates is a mere strategic investment to keep their secrets hidden.
“Everyone knows Harris isn’t popular enough to raise that kind of money on her own,” Musk quipped during the interview. He suggested that without the support of these elites, Harris’ campaign would crumble. “They’re the only reason she’s still in the race,” he added.
