A post on Facebook 2 dumped dogs was seen by couple rescuers called Roman and Jen McConn, who directly headed to the scene for help. The main hope of the couple was not to find the dogs as they were rescued, but when they arrived at the scene, they found a baby dog and its mama cradling each other to feel safe.
The founder of Project Freedom Ride had no idea what the dogs would do if they are approached, but they were so kind as if they knew that they were safe. The rescuers then called animal control for help, and they were very happy to do that.
A visit to the vet was also arranged by a local dog advocate called Becky McArdle. After being examined, they found that the dogs did not have any main ailments or injuries, and just minor things from spending time on their own.
Thankfully, the dogs, who were named Mina and Milo, were fostered. They were bathed and fed. They then slept in a warm bed for the first time in their life.
They will be available for adoption in March once they are completely healed. What a happy ending!
