Photography is such a beautiful art. Nothing would be more valuable for a photographer other than a good shot. We often hear about many talented photographers who even risk their lives to get their best shot ever and this is the story of such another photographer who could capture a breath-taking picture of a rare animal in his lenses.
Mads Nordsveen is a young photographer who is in love with nature and who engaged in taking wildlife photography. Recently he was so lucky enough to capture a baby reindeer in Oslo, Norway. Speaking to us he said,
“I was walking in the mountains looking for nice landscapes for my travel photography when out of nowhere I saw this wonderful little creature.” With the white snowy background, the little reindeer was almost camouflaged but Nodsveen says that the little guy was not shy at all or tried to hide. The reindeer has come so close to the photographer and in fact, ‘posed’ for pictures.

“He came very close to me and we looked at each other straight in the eyes. After some minutes the mother of the baby reindeer came out of trees just behind. It walked around for some minutes before running back to its mother. It was very magical and a fairy tale moment”,
As he says, it seems really magical because the little reindeer seems quite heavenly and magnificent. It is said that the white reindeer have an uncommon genetic mutation that strips their fur of pigment to allow them to blend into their snowy surroundings. Unlike albinos, they still have dark pigmentation in their eyes and antlers.
Nordsveen has also been lucky earlier to get some pictures of rare animals in person. In his collection, there is a picture of a lynx and wolves.
