During X Space Interview with Musk, Trump Mulls Closing Education Department

The corrupt Democratic Party has long exploited the Department of Education to indoctrinate our sons and daughters with woke policies that destroy their moral values and promote further division not only within the country but even within families.

This is why President Donald Trump and GOP lawmakers moved to abolish the Education Department and send it back to states.

During his interview with billionaire Elon Musk, the former president reiterated his plan to shut down the Department of Education and allow the states to manage education concerns.

“What I’m gonna do, one of the first acts, I want to close up the Department of Education and move education back to the states. You look at Gavin Newsom, the governor of California, he’s terrible—he does a terrible job. So he’s not going to do great with education. But out of the 50 states, I would bet that 35 would do great, and 20 of them would be as good as Norway,” Trump quipped.

A day after Trump’s remarks, Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Kentucky) backed the proposal and remarked that it is possible if the GOP wins the majority in both Congress and the White House in November.

“Would [former President Trump] follow through with it? Honestly, I think it depends on who controls Congress and who his Cabinet secretary is,” Massie remarked.

Last year, Massie sponsored a bill that would dismantle the department, and currently, it has more than 30 House GOP co-authors, including Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Georgia) and Byron Donalds (R-Florida).

The Republican nominee had earlier shared how he plans to save American education by taking back control against Radical Left maniacs who educate our children with bullsh*t DEI ideology and provide them with the “high quality, pro-American education they deserve.”

Trump lamented, “First, we will cut federal funding for any school or program pushing Critical Race Theory, gender ideology, or other inappropriate racial, sexual, or political content onto our children. We are not going to allow it to happen.”

The Republican nominee also thundered at how Communist democrats destroyed the federal Department of Education, which takes away parental rights.

“As the saying goes, personnel is policy, and at the end of the day, if we have pink-haired Communists teaching our kids, we have a major problem.

When I am President, we will put PARENTS back in charge and give them the final say.”

“We spend more per pupil than any nation in the world by double. We are going to keep spending our money, but we are now going to get our money’s worth. We are at the end of every list on education, and yet we spend the most. We are going to change it around,” Trump concluded his speech.
