Enemies of Donald Trump won’t stop until they obliterate him – they impeached him in 2020, swamped him with sham charges, attempted to assassinate him, his aircraft had to make an emergency, and now his campaign is hacked.
Trump’s campaign said that they had been hacked and found that Iran was involved in its data breach. The news followed a report from Microsoft revealing the Islamofascist nation has been doubling its efforts to meddle in the US election.
Steven Cheung, Trump’s spokesman, confirmed this after a report from Politico that they were receiving internal documents through email from an anonymous sender.
Cheung added, “These documents were obtained illegally from foreign sources hostile to the United States, intended to interfere with the 2024 election and sow chaos throughout our Democratic process.”
“On Friday, a new report from Microsoft found that Iranian hackers broke into the account of a ‘high ranking official’ on the U.S. presidential campaign in June 2024, which coincides with the close timing of President Trump’s selection of a vice presidential nominee,” the spokesman continued.
According to Microsoft’s report, one of the Iranian hackers “sent a spear phishing email in June to a high-ranking official on a presidential campaign from the compromised email account of a former senior advisor.”
Trump’s spokesman slammed Iran, “The Iranians know that President Trump will stop their reign of terror just like he did in his first four years in the White House.”
US intelligence noted that there had been increased activity and evidence that Iran has been working overtime to retaliate against Trump after the assassination of Qassem Soleimani, the leader of the elite Quds Force of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard.
Before his assassination, Soleimani organized the attacks on US forces in the Middle East.
The tech giant added that Iran also built fake news sites, and used names of famous activists to sway voters in battleground states. However, they refused to give more details about the ‘high-ranking official.’
Microsoft further said that Russia-linked organizations also shifted their efforts to influence the election. Meanwhile, the Chinese Communist Party took advantage of pro-Hamas rallies to intensify US political divisions.
Former President Trump also posted a statement regarding the incident and said, “‘Microsoft Corporation just informed us that one of our many websites was hacked by the Iranian Government – Never a nice thing to do! They were only able to get publicly available information but, nevertheless, they shouldn’t be doing anything of this nature.”
