The entire international community is watching as Election Day in the US draws close. Naturally, rival countries have been betting on incompetent, pea-brained, and corrupt Democrats. Remember when Russia’s strongman, Vladimir Putin, prayed Biden would win the election because he is more predictable than Donald Trump?
In an interview on Sunday, Kremlin’s spokesperson Dmitry Peskov exclaimed they would prefer Comrade Kamala, not because of her skills or track record, but because she is more “predictable.”
Peskov’s remarks have a hint of sarcasm as the Russian government asserts that it does not matter to them who would win US elections, and has no interest in foreign elections, nor interfering in them.
Kremlin’s spokesman found the question regarding the US election laughable, even the host of the show made sure such issues do not matter for the country.
“We have no candidate. But, of course, the Democrats are more predictable. And what Putin said about Biden’s predictability applies to almost all Democrats, including Ms. Harris,” Peskov quipped.
Putin earlier said that he would want senile Joe to win than Trump, as the then-Democrat candidate is a “more experienced, predictable person, a politician of the old school.”
“But we will work with any U.S. president who the American people have confidence in,” Putin added.
In some instances, Putin is aware that his remarks would be taken seriously and insists that Russia is not concerned about the outcome of the 2024 election, and is equally prepared to deal with any leader of the US.
Meanwhile, Peskov lamented on US’ handling of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, saying that the Democrat-led White House ‘trampled’ on Russia’s interests with its heavy-handed sanctions. He added that Russia has “no prospects” to improve relations with the US, with neither leader – Lying Kamala or President Trump.
As early as last year, Trump vowed to settle the conflict between two conflicting countries and bring peace to Russia and Ukraine.
“I know both heads of the countries. I know President Putin very well. I want to see the death stopping. There’s death and there’s destruction. They are destroying the whole fabric of a certain part of the world. I want to get it negotiated, and get it done,” Trump told Breitbart News in an exclusive interview in early August.
Peskov, meanwhile, noted that there is “no magic wand” in resolving the issue.
He added, “Nothing can be done within 24 hours.”
Peskov also emphasized that the situation will only be settled if the US decides to dramatically withdraw “military aid programs” for Ukraine and demand Zelensky to sit down at the negotiating table.
