It’s payback time for Donald Trump and his legal team.
The Biden-Harris regime has weaponized every government institution against the former president. With DOJ’s authorization, Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home was violently raided by the FBI, ready to utilize ‘use of deadly force’ against the former president of the United States.
Not only did they violate the law when they entered Mar-a-Lago, but worse, they staged and tampered with ‘evidence.’
The former president puts Biden’s Justice department on notice as his legal team prepares to sue for $100 million over the violent raid in his Mar-a-Lago home in 2022.
The Republican presidential nominee is on a legal offensive after Judge Aileen Cannon threw out the DOJ’s confidential documents case, citing the unconstitutional appointment of Special Counsel Jack Smith.
Judge Canon’s decision was a slap on the Biden-Harris regime and the DOJ, who used the full strength of the law to attack their opponent, Donald Trump. Her decision also raised concerns about the integrity of the whole investigation.
Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed Smith unconstitutionally to implement baseless persecution against President Trump.
According to Trump’s lawyers, the raid in Trump’s Mar-a-Lago property was done with ‘clear intent to engage in political persecution.’
Trump’s attorney Daniel Epstein, put the DOJ on notice, giving the department 180 days to respond to the notice and come to a resolution. If the DOJ fails to respond, the case will be transferred to federal court in the Southern District of Florida.
What President Trump is doing here is not just standing up for himself – he is standing up for all Americans who believe in the rule of law and believe that you should hold the government accountable when it wrongs you,” Trump’s lawyer Epstein quipped.
The filing against the DOJ wrote, “tortious acts against the president are rooted in intrusion upon seclusion, malicious prosecution, and abuse of process resulting from the August 8, 2022 raid of his and his family’s home at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach Florida.”
“Trump’s legal team also slapped the FBI and Justice Department for failing to follow protocols. The filing states that the raid was, “inconsistent with protocols requiring the consent of an investigative target, disclosure to that individual’s attorneys, and the use of the local U.S. Attorney’s Office.”
“Garland and Wray should have never approved a raid and subsequent indictment of President Trump because the well-established protocol with former U.S. presidents is to use non-enforcement means to obtain records of the United States,” Epstein lamented.
“But notwithstanding the fact that the raid should have never occurred, Garland and Wray should have ensured their agents sought consent from President Trump, notified his lawyers, and sought cooperation.”
